Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Our Colorado team replies to support messages within one business day.
- What species are your kits for?
- Our kits, grain and substrate are sold for lawful gourmet and functional cultivation — oyster, lion's mane, shiitake, reishi, king oyster and similar species. We do not sell spores, cultures or genetics of controlled species.
- Are microscopy products for cultivation?
- No. Microscopy items are sold strictly for legal microscopy, taxonomy, education and research. They are kept as a separate catalog line with their own intended-use language.
- Do you ship outside Colorado?
- Yes. We pack in Colorado and ship to all 50 states. Colorado customers can also choose local pickup at checkout when it launches.
- How long does sterile grain stay good?
- Sealed bags stay viable for roughly 60 days when stored cool, dark and undisturbed. Inspect the filter patch and inject as soon as practical.
- Is the site available in Spanish?
- Yes — use the EN/ES switch in the header. Your language preference is remembered on this device and will follow your account once sign-in is live.
- Can I install this as an app?
- Yes. Add Colorado Spores to your phone's home screen for a full-screen, app-like experience. Native Android and iOS builds with push notifications are planned.
- What is your return policy?
- Unopened, non-perishable equipment can be returned within 30 days. Sterile and perishable goods are non-returnable, but we replace any bag that arrives contaminated or damaged.
