Intended use

Colorado Spores supplies equipment and materials for lawful gourmet and functional mushroom cultivation, general mycology and laboratory work. Typical species include oyster, lion's mane, shiitake, reishi and king oyster.

We do not sell spores, cultures, genetics or products intended for the cultivation of any controlled species, and we do not provide guidance for such use.

Microscopy products

Microscopy items — microscopes, slides, coverslips, stains and related tools — are offered strictly for legal microscopy, taxonomy, education and research. They are a separate product line and are never marketed as cultivation inputs.

Customer responsibility

Laws governing mycology materials vary by country, state, county and city. By purchasing, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and that your intended use complies with all applicable federal, state and local law.

We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders where the stated or implied use appears unlawful.

Safety

Sterilization equipment, pressure vessels, scalpels and alcohol lamps carry real risk. Follow manufacturer instructions, work in ventilated spaces, and never consume any cultivated material you have not positively identified.
